A Legacy of Educational Leadership Since 1977
School Voice Association traces its roots to the establishment of the Federation of Private Schools in 1977, initiated by Mr. R. R. Iyyar. In December 1977, the organisation embarked on a significant journey towards strengthening private school education under the leadership and vision of Late Mr. D. Christ Das, who played a pivotal role in developing the organisation into the Tamil Nadu Nursery, Primary and Matriculation Higher Secondary School Managements Association.
The organisation’s growth and development were guided by distinguished educational leaders, including Mr. Rajkumar, Mr. Krishna Moorthy and Late Director of DPI Mr. Titas, whose contributions helped strengthen its commitment to school managements and educational development.
Over the years, this legacy has continued through School Voice Association, working to unite private school managements, represent their concerns and promote the development of quality school education across Tamil Nadu.
Our Journey and Commitment
School Voice Association serves as a collective platform for private school managements to share knowledge, address common challenges and work towards practical solutions for the evolving needs of education. Through meetings, conferences, symposiums, leadership programmes and policy representations, the Association seeks to strengthen educational institutions and support those responsible for leading them.
Under the leadership of Adv. Martin Kennedy, President, and Adv. John Arokia Prabhu, General Secretary, School Voice Association continues this legacy through legal awareness, policy advocacy, professional development and constructive engagement with government authorities.
